Wedi is a 100% waterproof system for wet rooms. Wedi building boards are lightweight thanks to the XPS foam and strong thanks to the glass-fibre mesh and cement coating.
XPS foam ensures 100% waterproofing.

The blue core of the Wedi building board is made of extruded polystyrene foam, or XPS foam. The foam is reinforced on both sides with glass-fibre mesh coated with polymer-modified cement. Thanks to its strength and stability, the waterproof backer board is an ideal substrate for tiling (including very heavy natural stone), as well as for filling and painting.
