The table and chairs are made of meranti wood. Like most tropical woods, meranti has a very high oil content, which makes the wood resistant to weather conditions. The wood surface is finished with protective wood oil. A small amount of natural brown pigment has been added to the oil to stabilise changes in the colour of the wood grain.

Wood is a living natural material whose appearance changes under the influence of weather conditions. Clean the furniture regularly and protect it from excess moisture and UV radiation. Light sanding and a fresh coat of oil once a year are sufficient to give wooden surfaces a renewed appearance. To extend the service life of outdoor furniture, we recommend using outdoor furniture covers. At the end of the summer season, we recommend storing garden furniture indoors. Clean and dry the furniture before storage. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated room.
