With its beautiful distinctive grain, radiata pine is a very light and high-quality material that is ideal for finishing and sauna rooms. Thermal treatment makes radiata pine more durable and stable, while highlighting its warm golden-brown tone and characteristic knots.
To ensure the wood lasts a long time, it must be maintained regularly and correctly. It is recommended to treat the wooden bench parts with a wood preservative to protect the wood from moisture. High heat reduces the lifespan of wooden components; the highest permitted temperature for wood surfaces in the steam room is +135C.
