Smooth thermo aspen sauna bench boards offer both comfort and visual appeal. Aspen wood is especially well suited for saunas because it does not release resin, does not splinter, and does not become too hot. Thermally treated aspen has a beautiful golden-brown tone.
To ensure the wood lasts a long time, it must be maintained regularly and correctly. It is recommended to treat the wooden bench parts with a wood preservative to protect the wood from moisture. High heat reduces the lifespan of wooden components; the highest permitted temperature for wood surfaces in the steam room is +135C.
