UTK exterior cladding is wood cladding with a ribbed surface, giving the facade a visible texture. The ribbed surface better highlights the play of light and shadow and is well suited for solutions where a more pronounced surface structure is desired.
UTK house exterior cladding is well suited for modern houses and other buildings where a stronger surface pattern is important for a wood facade. The ribbed surface makes the facade visually more varied and helps better highlight the cladding profile. The ribbed surface also helps create a better bonding surface for paint and stain, leaving a visually more even impression than a sawn-surface product.
Primed boards have initial protection against weather conditions and a suitable surface layer for successful adhesion of the topcoat. The priming is done with Teknos water-based alkyd primer Teknol 1881, which also contains anti-mould and blue stain protection agents. Both water-based paints and oil paints can later be applied over Teknol 1881 primer.
