Lamineeritud vineerpuitu (LVL) kasutatakse enim katusekonstruktsioonide, lagede, betoonivaluvormide, seina- ja põrandakarkasside ning tellingute juures. LVL’i eeliseks on tema tugevuskarakteristikud, mis saavutatakse läbi tootmistehnoloogia. Laminaatstruktuur teeb LVL’i tugevaks ja vastupidavaks.

LVL on valmistatud spoonikihtidest, millest igaüks on ca 3mm paks. Kihid paigutatakse pikkupidi ning liimitakse omavahel kokku.
