Glued wood panels are made from narrow calibrated timber pieces that are edge-glued together. The panel dimensions remain quite stable because stresses that occur in one part of the board are compensated and balanced in another part. As a result, glued wood panels are stronger and more durable than ordinary timber boards; they also do not crack, split when dry, or warp.
Glued wood panels are intended for furniture making, stair construction, handicrafts and interior furnishing. They are also widely used for manufacturing window and door frames.
