- Multiwall sheet is weather-resistant. A special coating protects the material from UV radiation, which allows the manufacturer to give the material a 10-year warranty for light transmission. The warranty applies with correct installation.
- Multiwall sheet is up to 200 times more impact-resistant than ordinary glass.
- Multiwall sheet has good light transmission. Depending on material thickness, the light transmission of a multiwall panel is 45-80%.
- Multiwall sheet has very good thermal insulation. The U-coefficient, depending on thickness, is 1.0 W/m2K.
- Multiwall sheet is environmentally friendly. It helps save energy (heat and electricity). At the end of its service life, the material can be recycled and reused. When disposed of, multiwall sheet (polycarbonate, PC) does not release environmentally harmful compounds. When burned, it mainly releases water and carbon dioxide (CO2).
- Multiwall sheet does not burn independently. The reaction-to-fire/fire spread class of multiwall sheet (thicknesses 6-20 mm) is B-s1-d0 (B1). This allows the material to be used in structures meeting TP1 requirements.
- Multiwall sheet is easy to process. Most hand tools are suitable for processing the material (cutting, drilling, fastening, etc.).
