FF-PIR ALK is an efficient PIR insulation board ideally suited to the hot and humid conditions of a sauna. Its excellent thermal performance allows a thin insulation layer to save space while creating an energy-efficient structure.

The boards are installed directly on the wall or ceiling structure and can be used on both timber and masonry structures. The diffusion-tight aluminium laminate acts as a vapour barrier and helps protect the structure from moisture. Tongue-and-groove edges on all sides allow the boards to be joined tightly together.

The service temperature of FF-PIR insulation is –50…+120 °C, and the material can also withstand temperatures above +200 °C for short periods, making it well suited to sauna insulation.
