FF-PIR ALK is an efficient PIR insulation board suitable for insulating buildings in both new construction and renovation. The boards can be used to insulate roofs, walls and saunas. Thanks to its excellent thermal performance, FF-PIR ALK provides effective thermal insulation with a relatively thin layer.
The boards are faced on both sides with a diffusion-tight aluminium laminate. They also act as a vapour barrier, so no separate vapour barrier layer is required. If the entire external structure is insulated with FF-PIR boards, a separate wind barrier layer is not required either.
The 600 × 2400 mm board size makes it convenient to transport and handle even in confined spaces. The boards can also be installed horizontally in relation to the frame studs.
