Vapour barrier membrane is designed as a vapour and air barrier for walls in living spaces, helping protect structures from moisture and improve the building’s energy efficiency. It prevents water vapour diffusion and reduces moisture transfer into structures by air movement.
In roof structures, the product is suitable on the inside of pitched and horizontal assemblies where the insulation load is low or where the vapour barrier is supported from below after installation (for example with board or panelling) before the insulation is installed. The membrane is compatible with all common insulation materials.
Its main advantage is excellent value for money, making it one of the most affordable vapour barrier membranes in its class.
