Kivipuu wood is made using natural methods from carefully selected Finnish pine. No chemicals that could irritate sensitive skin are used in production. This product is well suited for outdoor terraces and cladding.

After about a year, Kivipuu wood turns a beautiful grey under the influence of the sun. Over time, as it turns grey, a so-called “fuzziness” may appear on the surface, which is part of the Kivipuu process. If “fuzziness” appears, it should be lightly brushed off the boards.
When installed correctly, Kivipuu wood is highly weather-resistant. The surface repels dirt and water, making the product durable and beautiful for many years. Kivipuu wood does not need to be oiled or treated in any other way. During installation, cut surfaces must be treated with a special wood preservative. Kivipuu is also more fire-resistant than untreated wood. Due to the materials used, the wood becomes stone-like, which effectively protects it from burning.
