Handling: the wood is profiled, untreated with wood preservatives and packaged in shrink wrap.
The floorboard is made from second-grade, extra-dry spruce wood. It is suitable for indoor use only. To reduce the risk of shrinkage after installation, the boards’ moisture content should be in equilibrium with the room’s relative humidity at the time of installation. Allow the floorboards to acclimatise in the installation room for at least two weeks before fitting.
The end-matched profile allows the boards to be joined at their ends, helping to reduce material waste during installation. With second-grade boards, allow for additional material when sorting the boards and cutting out any defective sections.
The wood’s colour, grain and knots may differ from those shown in the image. Second-grade boards may have surface defects and uneven areas caused by planing.
