Silroc bricks can be used in interior and exterior walls, basements, foundations and chimney cladding. Silroc bricks can be used to build both load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. The main applications of Silroc calcium silicate bricks are chimney cladding, fence posts and walls, outdoor fireplace cladding, etc. Silroc bricks are also used when renovating old brick buildings. Silroc calcium silicate bricks are Category I masonry units that meet the requirements of the harmonised standard EVS-EN 771-2:2011+A1:2015 for calcium silicate masonry units. Silroc bricks are installed using masonry mortar and are usually laid with exposed joints.
