ISOVER Tyvek® UV Facade 2524B provides optimal thermal insulation for structures with open-jointed or ventilated facade cladding and protects them from sunlight, wind, and moisture for more than 50 years. The product ensures maximum breathability of the structure.
Use: Tyvek® UV Facade is used to protect structures from sunlight, wind, and moisture in partially open facades. The product must be covered with facade elements as soon as possible, but no later than 4 months after installation. Tyvek® UV facade tape, with high UV resistance and excellent adhesive properties, is recommended for joining overlaps.
Installation: Installation of Tyvek® UV Facade starts at the bottom beam of the structure, either horizontally or vertically, working from the bottom upwards. The overlap at the bottom edge must be at least 100 mm. When installed horizontally, the upper sheet must overlap the lower one by at least 100 mm; for vertical installation, the overlap must be at least 150 mm. Use Tyvek® UV facade tape to seal overlaps. When starting at a building corner, leave at least 300 mm extending around the corner. Make X-shaped cuts at window and door openings, fold the edges inwards, and staple them to the reveals. Seal corners with Tyvek® system tapes: Tyvek® UV facade tape or Tyvek® Tape Plus. Maximum staple spacing over overlaps is 600 mm horizontally and 300 mm vertically. Final fastening is carried out with ventilation battens.
