The GFRP rigid mesh uses specialised mesh technology to provide stronger joints. The mesh is stronger and more reliable, is not brittle or prone to breaking, maintains joint integrity during transport, and offers greater load resistance.
Fiberglass is up to 9 times lighter than steel, making it considerably easier to transport and install. Fiberglass rebar has greater tensile strength than steel rebar. A smaller-diameter fiberglass reinforcing bar can readily replace a steel bar.
Material: AR-type glass fibre (Alcali Resistant glass) 82%, epoxy 18%: thermosetting epoxy resins, amine hardener, inhibitor (reduces UV effects), accelerator, quartz sand, graphite. The fiberglass reinforcement has a ribbed profile that ensures adhesion to concrete.
Applications: For reinforcing concrete and supporting various structures, reinforcement in aggressive environments, reinforcement of thin concrete where criteria are set for the protective concrete cover, and agricultural facilities where concrete comes into contact with phenols: barns, silos, slurry tanks, pools, ports, bridges, and quays.
