Hydrosafe® is a high-performance humidity-variable vapour barrier membrane for fibrous mat and board insulation. It acts as an internal vapour and air barrier in diffusion-open external structures and vapour-impermeable assemblies such as flat, pitched and green roofs.
Hydrosafe® technology regulates water vapour movement according to humidity conditions, helping reduce condensation risk and protecting structures from moisture damage and mould. In winter it provides reliable protection while allowing structures to dry under favourable conditions.
The membrane is dimensionally stable, tear-resistant and easy to install. It is suitable for most fibrous mat and board insulation materials (excluding blown insulation), and its performance has been independently tested and confirmed under European Technical Assessment ETA-18/1146 . It also meets strict indoor-air-quality requirements and has been tested according to ISO 16000 .
