Aluspinnaks sobivad igasugused mineraalsed aluspinnad. Kiudkrohvi kasutades väheneb mirkopragude teke krohvikihis miinimumini, väheneb vajumispragude tekke võimalus. Krohvikihi paksus 4-30 mm.
