Soft TOPROCK PLUS stone wool mats are used for the thermal and acoustic insulation of lightweight structures (where loads do not affect the insulation).
Recommended structures for insulation:
- Ventilated pitched roofs and attics.
- Timber floors.
- Floors above unheated rooms.
- Partition walls and other lightweight frame structures.
Key properties:
- Like all ROCKWOOL products, TOPROCK PLUS provides excellent insulation and is fire-resistant.
- In ventilated structures, TOPROCK PLUS mats must be protected by installing an additional wind barrier using stone wool boards or windproof membranes.
- The mats are particularly effective for insulating the floors of large unused attics, as their dimensions are significantly larger than those of boards, making installation much faster.
- The dimensions of these mats are: width 1000 mm, while the length may vary from 3000 to 6000 mm. Available thicknesses range from 100 to 200 mm.
- The approximate package diameter is 400 mm, making them easy and convenient to transport and carry into attics or other rooms with limited floor area or volume.
