Isokern modular chimney is a chimney system made from Icelandic lava stone and characterised by excellent thermal insulation. Thanks to the properties of lava stone, the inner surface of the flue heats up quickly, helping to achieve good draught and reduce heat loss.
Isokern is a fire-safe, durable and long-lasting solution suitable for wood-fired heating appliances such as ovens, stoves, fireplaces and sauna heaters. The chimney is suitable for heating appliances with an output of up to 60 kW when the flue-gas outlet temperature is between 150 and 600 °C.
The modular structure makes the chimney quick and easy to install. Under suitable conditions, a conventional detached-house chimney up to 7 metres high can be erected in one day.

Note! Isokern is not recommended for central-heating boilers, gas or oil heating, or other water-jacketed heating appliances whose flue-gas outlet temperature is below 150 °C.
