It is recommended to always tape the open ends of greenhouse polycarbonate panels to prevent dust, dirt, insects and moisture from entering the panel channels. This keeps the panels transparent, clean and in good condition for longer.
Installation recommendation:

Seal the upper ends with non-breathable tape, which prevents dirt and moisture from entering the panel.

Seal the lower ends with perforated breathable tape, so moisture can escape.
