Application:
ESSVE Torpedo MAX III decking screw is designed for installing fences, decking boards, and similar materials on a wooden frame. In very demanding environments, such as marine environments and pool areas, stainless steel decking screws are always recommended. Compared with a standard decking screw, the screw has a larger diameter to withstand use in locations with higher requirements, such as balconies exposed to more movement than usual.
NB: For teak-like decking woods such as cumaru, kirai, and Siberian larch, stainless steel decking screws and pre-drilling are always recommended.
For thermally treated decking material, use only stainless steel decking screws.
Description:
The screw is made from hardened steel with CorrSeal surface treatment or from A2 stainless steel. Ph2 head/bit. The new and unique patented triple spiral thread at the screw tip provides an extremely fast start – it bites immediately. The new triple spiral thread also ensures very low driving torque in harder materials and minimizes splitting. The head has four patented Tornado grooves that countersink the screw and leave a smooth, splinter-free surface.
For fast and efficient installation, use a screwdriver with a depth stop.
