MOSO® Bamboo has created an exceptionally beautiful solution for outdoor areas – durable bamboo decking boards with a classic herringbone pattern. The idea is both simple and clever: to create a visual whole between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Herringbone installation is one of the most timeless patterns of classic parquet, associated with elegance, quality and a luxurious finish. Bamboo X-treme Herringbone decking boards make it possible to bring the same refined design outdoors.

The decking boards are made at a 45° angle, allowing an exact herringbone pattern to be created. The result is an exclusive and luxurious terrace that combines high durability with outstanding design.

Installation and maintenance:

• Leave a 5-6 mm gap between the decking boards. MOSO® Herringbone spacer and end clips automatically ensure this gap and help keep the boards precisely aligned when installing the herringbone pattern. Thanks to the high dimensional stability of the decking boards, no expansion gap is needed between board ends.
• All cut board ends must be treated with MOSO® Board End Sealer to prevent moisture from penetrating the wood.
• It is recommended to oil the terrace immediately after installation, but no later than after the first winter. The best time for the first maintenance oiling is 3-4 months after installation, when the material surface is more open and the oil absorbs better.
• Clean the terrace at least once a year using WOCA Exterior Wood Cleaner and a silicon carbide brush or disc. Clean more often under intensive use or more demanding weather conditions. After cleaning, rinse dirty water from the surface with clean water and allow the terrace to dry completely. Apply 1-2 new coats of WOCA Exterior Wood Oil. To ensure a long service life, keep the terrace surface as clean as possible. Regularly remove dust, leaves and other dirt with a brush.
• Store decking boards before installation in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, precipitation, dirt and dust.
