The ISOVER wind deflector is intended for installation at the eaves of building roofs. It prevents ventilation air from entering the roof insulation. The deflector directs ventilation air entering through the eaves away from the insulation material, improving the effectiveness of the insulation. It also protects the insulation material in drifting snow conditions by preventing snow from reaching the insulation directly. The ISOVER wind deflector is made of strong, moisture-resistant impregnated cardboard.
ISOVER wind deflectors are used with both 900 mm and 1200 mm standard roof-rafter spacing and can also be installed between rafters with non-standard spacing.
