Settlement bolt is an adjustable cold-galvanized steel fastener designed to secure timber structures and adjust their height. The settlement bolt allows the height of the structure to be precisely corrected both during installation and later during use.
Suitable for securing support posts and beams to concrete, stone or wooden substrates. Used, for example, in the construction of log houses, terraces, canopies, lightweight buildings and other timber structures. The adjustment feature is particularly useful in structures where the drying of timber or settlement of the building may create a need to correct the height over time.
