MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® Closed exterior cladding boards are solid bamboo boards made from compressed bamboo strips and thermally modified at 200 °C.
The unique thermal modification process gives MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® material the highest possible durability class under relevant European standards, improves dimensional stability and density, and increases hardness. Unlike conventional wood products, this material achieves fire reaction class B-s1-d0¹ (EN 13501-1) without impregnation with costly and environmentally harmful fire retardants. MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® cladding with the Closed profile is designed to meet the strictest fire-safety requirements.
Like tropical hardwoods, MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® develops a natural grey tone outdoors over time, giving the facade a natural and timeless appearance.
