MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® exterior cladding boards are solid bamboo boards in various widths, made from compressed bamboo strips and thermally modified at 200 °C.
The unique thermal modification process gives MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® cladding boards the highest possible durability class under relevant European standards, improves dimensional stability and density, and increases hardness. Unlike many other wood materials, Bamboo X-treme® achieves fire reaction class B-s1-d0¹ (EN 13501-1) without impregnation with costly and environmentally harmful fire retardants.
Like tropical hardwoods, MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® develops a natural grey tone outdoors over time, creating an elegant and natural look.
