Klaasfiiber on kuni 9 korda kergem kui teras, seda on tunduvalt kergem transportida ja paigaldada. Klaasfiibervarras erineb terasvardast suurema tõmbetugevuse poolest. Väiksema läbimõõduga klaasfiiber sarrusevarras võib hõlpsasti terasvarrast asendada.
Materjal:
AR tüüpi klaaskiud (Alcali Resistant glass) 82%, epoksiid 18%: epoksütermoaktiivsed vaigud, amino kõvendi, inhibiitor (pidurdab UV toimet), kiirendi, kvartsliiv, grafiit. Klaasfiiber armatuuri ümbritseb reljeefne profiil, mis tagab toote nakke betooniga.
Kasutamine:
Betooni armeerimiseks ja erinevate struktuuride toestamiseks, Agressiivsetes keskkondades armeermiseks, Õhukese paksusega betooni armeerimisel, kus on seatud kriteeriumid betooni kaitsekihile, Põllumajandusega seotud objektidel, kus betoon puutub kokku fenoolidega: laudad, silod, lägahoidlad, Basseinid, sadamad, sillad, kaid.
