PAROC FPS 14 is a non-combustible stone wool fire protection board designed to improve the fire resistance of structures.

Suitable for use in steel structures, chimneys, doors, fireplaces and ovens.

The product density is approximately 140 kg/m³.

Fire resistance depends on the density of the material and the thickness of the insulation layer used; a higher density and suitable insulation thickness provide a longer fire resistance time.

The board is easy to handle and install in various fireplace systems.

When selecting a suitable product for a fireplace, the requirements of the relevant system manufacturer must be followed.

PAROC stone wool products withstand high temperatures. The binder begins to evaporate at temperatures above 200 °C; the thermal insulation properties are retained, but the compressive strength of the material decreases.

The sintering temperature of stone wool is above 1000 °C.
