Enne kasutamist segada ning samuti segada kruntimise ajal, et vältida kvartsiosakeste põhja settimist. Krunt kanda aluspinnale pintsli või pikakarvalise värvirulliga. Vajadusel võib krunti lahjendada veega (kuni 10% mahust). Kuivamisaeg sõltuvalt aluspinna ja õhutemperatuurist 30 min – 2 h. Töövahendid pesta kohe peale kruntimist veega.
