Specially developed wax to protect wood ends from cracking.
Osmo end-grain wax prevents water absorption into the wood and also slows down wood drying. It reduces swelling and shrinkage of the wood. It fills the pores of the wood and thereby also reduces the leakage of extractives contained in the wood. The wax is colourless and can be used under various finishes.
Osmo oil wax for protecting decking board ends is recommended for the ends of logs and boards. Suitable for softwood and hardwood, e.g. Bangkirai, teak, Massaranduba, Garapa, Cumaru, as well as pine, spruce, Douglas fir, spruce, larch, cedar, thermally treated wood, etc.
