Fibo sillused tuleb alati paigaldada silluse tootesildil näidatud suuna UP järgi, teisiti on paigaldamine KEELATUD. Silluses olev armatuur on arvestatud ainult ühte pidi töötama ja nii on lubatud kandevõime tagatud. Kui sillus on paigaldatud teisiti, siis võib sillus koormuse all läbi vajuda ning halvimal juhul katki minna. Võib juhtuda, et tootesildil olev kiri ei ole loetav või puudub tootesilt üldse ja on raske aru saada, mis pidi peab sillust paigaldama, siis sellisel juhul saab silluse alumise poole ära tunda plastmassist detailide järgi.
Tugipinna pikkuse osas on lihtne reegel: kui ava suurus on alla 1,5 m, siis on tugipinna pikkus mitte kandva seina puhul võib olla min. 120 mm ja kui ava suurus on üle 1,5 m, siis on tugipinna pikkus min. 250 mm. Sillus peab toetuma täismõõdus plokile, mis omakorda peab toetuma täissegu vuugile. Sellega tagatakse ühtlasem koormuse ülekandmine silluselt müürile, samuti väheneb pragude tekkimise oht silluse tugipinnas.
