Vahatamisel kasutatakse siseviimistlusvaha Teknowax, mis on standardis valge tooniga, kuid seda on võimalik toonida enamlevinud lasuurvärvide toonidega. Vahatamisprotsessi käigus lihvitakse laud enne vaha peale kandmist. Vaha kantakse peale ühes kihis kõrgsurve pihustiliinil, peale kuivatit poleeritakse laud spetsiaalsete poleerharjastega, et anda tootele ühtlane sile ning siidjas lõpptulemus.
Vahatatud pind jätab poolläbipaistva mati, naturaalse ja sooja ning samas ka väga lihtsasti puhastatava ja vastupidava siidja pinna. Oksakohad ja muud puidule iseloomulikud mustrid ei tõuse nii teravalt esile ning sulanduvad palju ühtlasemalt puidu tekstuuriga võrreldes katva pinnavärviga värvimisega.
Erinevatest partiidest ja pikkustest laudu kombineerides palume arvestada, et toodetel võib esineda värvierinevusi!
Vastab A sordi kvaliteedinõuetele. Selle järgi on lubatud ka:
- Terved sh. mustad oksad – lubatud läbimõõduga kuni 1/5 laua laiusest.
- Kooreoksad – Kasutusküljel lubatud üksikud, kinnised, suurusega max 1/10 laua laiusest. Alla 10mm piirangud puuduvad
- Lahtine oks või oksaauk – Laipinnal keelatud. Serval lubatud, kui kahe tüki liitmisel ei jää läbivat auku, lausega kuni 1/10 laua laiusest
- Max lubatud oksade arv meetri kohta – Piirangud puuduvad
- Otsalõhed – Lubatud max ½ laua laiuse pikkuselt, max 10%-l tükiarvust, ka läbivad.
- Vaigupesad – Max pikkus 25mm või pikkuste kogusumma mx 100mm, laiusega mitte üle 1mm. Alla 10mm ei arvestata
