FF-PIR ALK soojustusplaadid sobivad hoone soojustamiseks nii renoveerimisel kui ka uusehitistes. FF-PIR plaate saab kasutada nii katuse kui seinte või sauna soojustamiseks. Plaatide soojusjuhtivus Lambda declared on 0,022 W/mK , mis tähendab, et õhukese plaadi abil saavutatakse tarindi võimalikult head soojustusomadused.
Plaadid on mõlemalt poolt kaetud difusioonikindla alumiiniumlaminaadi kihiga. Plaadid toimivad ka aurutõkkena ja eraldi aurutõkkekihti ei ole vaja paigaldada. Kui kogu väliskonstruktsioon on FF-PIR soojustusega, ei ole vaja ka eraldi tuuletõkkekihti.
FF-PIR vahu ehk soojustava osa tuletundlikkuse klass on D-s1, d0. FF-PIR soojustusplaate valmistatakse 20…240 mm paksuses, 10 mm vahedega. Plaatide mõõtmed on 600 x 2400 mm, mis hõlbustab plaatide transporti ja teisaldamist kitsas ruumis. Plaate saab paigaldada ka karkassipostide suhtes horisontaalselt.
