ESSVE ESSDECK Max decking screws are designed for installing decking boards and similar materials on a wooden frame. The screw diameter is larger than ESSVE Classic decking screws, and they are made using the same steel type and hardening method as ESSVE construction screws. As a result, they withstand installation locations with slightly higher requirements, such as larger or multi-level terraces.
Description:
The decking screws are made from hardened steel with CorrSeal surface treatment. The screws have a TX drive/recess. The front end of the screw thread acts as a cutter to eliminate the need for pre-drilling. A fixing thread has been added to the upper part of the thread, creating good fastening force during installation and helping straighten warped decking boards. The fixing thread also helps keep the decking board more securely in place after installation. Thanks to this feature, the screw head can have a smaller diameter while still providing better holding power than a traditional countersunk head. The screws have a cylindrical head with milling grooves underneath to ensure a neat, splinter-free countersunk result. The advantage of the cylindrical screw head is that it does not create cracks in the wooden part during countersinking. ESSVE CorrSeal surface treatment has been issued type approval no. 0075/05 by the SITAC certification body..
