Esimese sordi lamineeritud vineeri iseloomustab ideaalne välimus. Ei tohi olla eraldunud kilet, karedust pärast remonti, plekke, kühme ja auke, pressi jälgi, laminaadi pundumist.
Lubatud on:
- tervete oksakohtade jäljed
- heledad plekid ja triibud (kuni veerand pinnast)
- kleepunud kiletükid kuni 5cm
- värvinired kuni 10mm
- spooni defektid sisemises kihis kuni 10mm ja sügavuti kuni 2mm
- eraldunud kildude jäljed suurusega kuni 5mm
Lamineeritud vineer on suure tiheduse ja tugevusega, seejuures eriti hea veekindlusega materjal. Vineeri lamineerimine parandab pealispinna vastupanuvõimet väliskeskonna mõjudele.
Tänu heale libisemis- ja kulumiskindlusele leiab see materjal väga laialdast kasutamist, nt. konstruktsioonimaterjalina ehituses, dekoratiivse viimistlusplaadina mööblitootmises, veokite haagisepõhjades ja külgedel, samuti vagunites, betooni valamisel jne.
