II sordi lamineeritud vineeril võib puududa kilekate kuni 1% pindalast. Võivad esineda kilematerjali jätkulapid, defektide jäljed sisemistes kihtides, heledad laigud. Plekid ja väikesed augud võivad esineda mitte rohkem kui 10% pindalast.
Lubatud on:
- kuni 300 mm kriimustused pikkuses
- pressiplaatide jäljendid tingimusel, et kilekihi terviklikkus on säilinud
- laminaadi pundumine kuni 100mm
- spooni puudumine vineeri sisemistes kihtides on lubatud pikkuses kuni 25mm
- eraldunud kildude jäljed suurusega kuni 5x20mm
- karedad ja hõõrdunud kohad.
Lamineeritud vineer on suure tiheduse ja tugevusega, seejuures eriti hea veekindlusega materjal. Vineeri lamineerimine parandab pealispinna vastupanuvõimet väliskeskonna mõjudele.
Tänu heale libisemis- ja kulumiskindlusele leiab see materjal väga laialdast kasutamist, nt. konstruktsioonimaterjalina ehituses, dekoratiivse viimistlusplaadina mööblitootmises, veokite haagisepõhjades ja külgedel, samuti vagunites, betooni valamisel jne.
Plaat on kaetud mõlemalt poolt fenoolkihiga.
