Surface preparation:
Clean previously unpainted surfaces from dust, dirt, and oil. Remove encrusted particles and salts with a wire brush or pressure washer. Remove old encrusted paint from previously painted surfaces, then proceed as with a new surface. Prime the surface with Sakret FMg primer. Cover areas not intended for painting (metal surfaces, window frames, glass, etc.). Not recommended for surfaces previously painted with silicone paints. Fresh concrete surfaces must not be painted before 4 weeks after construction work completion. Work process:
Painting can be started 12 hours after priming. The temperature of the substrate and air must be at least +5 °C during priming and drying, and the relative humidity must not exceed 80%. Do not paint in direct sunlight, rainy, or very windy weather. Stir the paint carefully before use; the first coat can be diluted with water up to 10% by volume. Apply two coats “wet-on-wet” using a brush, paint roller, or spray gun. Do not pause longer than 10 minutes during painting to avoid streaks and spots caused by drying. Drying time at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity is 6 hours. The paint is not suitable for finishing facades insulated with mineral wool.
