Interior cladding boards are used as both ceiling and wall covering material. The boards are dried and end-matched, making installation easier. The boards are made from knot-free, finger-jointed raw material and coated with paint at 10% moisture content.

Before installation, allow the cladding boards to acclimatise in the installation room for 2-3 weeks. In the dry season (late autumn and winter), this process may take longer. During acclimatisation, the boards must remain in their original packaging and the packs should be spread out on the floor for even ventilation. Open only one product pack at a time.

Fasten the boards to the substrate with nails, screws or panel clips. For 12-15mm boards, a 2.2x45mm nail is suitable. Do not drive the nail fully in with a hammer. A nail gun may also be used. Install end-matched boards in sequence, applying a thin layer of wood glue to the board end. Joints must be offset by at least 600mm.

All treatment of the cladding board must be done before installation to prevent treated boards from sticking together and cracking during drying. A treated board that dries later may leave untreated gaps.

Before installation, inspect each cladding board carefully. Sort out products with visible damage or manufacturing defects and submit a claim to the place of purchase. Deviations caused by incorrect handling, installation, storage, surface after-treatment or the natural properties of wood (such as natural structure and general appearance) are not treated as claims. Visible quality defects, moisture-content deviations or anything else that may appear to be a defect must be claimed before installation. Claims submitted only after installation, and containing defects that were visible or should have been visible before installation, will not be accepted.

On finished boards, knots and the wood structure may become visible over time.
