Krunditav pind peab olema puhas ja kuiv. Pind puhastada lahtistest osakestest, liimist, õlist, mustusest, tolmust, kooruvast värvist. Enne kasutamist segada. Krunt kanda aluspinnale lahjendamata kujul pintsli, maalrirulli või pihustiga. Sõltuvalt imavusest kanda pinnale mitu kihti. Kuivamisaeg sõltuvalt aluspinna ja õhutemperatuurist 30 min – 2 h. Töövahendid pesta kohe peale kruntimist veega.
