Application:
ESSVE HDS A4 decking screw is used for concealed installation of standard pressure-treated decking boards, Siberian larch, and similar materials. The screw is installed into the side of the decking board using a special bit and installation tool.
Description:
The screw is made from A4 acid-resistant stainless steel. The arrow-shaped tip minimizes the risk of splitting and reduces driving torque. The thread under the head creates high clamping force between the supporting frame and the decking board. The cylindrical head leaves a minimally visible entry hole. The screw has a TX bit recess. The screw meets CE marking requirements according to standard EN 14592.
Installation:
Decking screw 4.8 x 50 mm is suitable for wood thicknesses of 19-25 mm, max width 95 mm. Use the installation tool for wood widths of 85-110 mm.Decking screw 4.8 x 60 mm is suitable for wood thicknesses of 25-34 mm, max width 145 mm. Use the installation tool for wood widths of 110-150 mm. Recommended speed:
approx. 400-1200 rpm.
