The Woodmood KONTRAST product range is characterised by painted aged cladding boards. Aged interior cladding boards finished with contrast colours are painted with water-based acrylic topcoat Nordica Eko. Solid wood cladding boards are suitable for indoor use in both new buildings and renovations of older buildings. They can be installed horizontally or vertically.
With contrast painting, after ageing the cladding board is covered with two different colour tones and then finish-sanded, removing the top paint layer from the embossed aged wood surface and revealing the lower paint layer in another shade. The resulting two-tone pattern resembles the wood structure and highlights the aged surface beautifully.
End-matched cladding boards can be installed like parquet, which minimises losses caused by differences in length.
For fastening, we recommend using a 4mm cladding clip.
