Softwood plywood (pine)

Both faces are C-grade (C/C) quality, which means that fillers, colour variations, small knots, cracks and surface irregularities are permitted. These defects are natural and do not affect the strength or moisture resistance of the plywood.

Softwood plywood is a multi-layer wood panel consisting of veneer layers bonded together. The layers are arranged with alternating grain directions (usually at 90°), providing good dimensional stability and strength.

The face veneers (outer veneers) are made of pine.

Main advantages

Good strength-to-weight ratio (density approx. 600–700 kg/m³).
