The ESSVE Hidden Decking System (HDS) tool allows building terraces with hidden screw heads. HDS consists of screws, special bits, and a jig. The screw is fastened from the side of the decking board using the jig, which keeps the screw head completely hidden. This provides a clean appearance and a crack-free result. The spacer plates included with the assembly tool can be used to fix suitable distances between decking boards. The jig is designed for use with decking boards 105-155 mm wide. We always recommend following the wood manufacturer/importer’s recommendations when installing wood, especially when determining the distances between decking boards. Adjust the jig according to the width of the decking board by lifting the gray jig locking button. Place the jig on the joist against the decking board and lock the jig. Insert one HDS screw into each screw hole. Use the spacer plates to set the correct spacing. Fasten the HDS screw with the special HDS bit TX15X100mm. Always start fastening the decking board from the outer screw.
