Immutatud puitmaterjal
Proper impregnation with nowadays timber protection highly increases the duration of the timber. Impregnation makes timber inedible for insects and funguses, therefore timbers duration increases 3-5 times. In the process of impregnation, a timber-protecting chemical with hydrosol is taken into the wood. After that, water is sucked out of the wood and the chemicals stay in.
Impregnated timber is greenish-brown, but in time it fades and finally gets a greyish toning.
Impregnated timber doesn’t need to be covered with timber-protection, but if you wish, you can put final touches to it with all the colours and surface protections made for wood. Make sure that before you cover the surfaces you let the impregnated timber to dry. After processing impregnted timber (for example sawing, drilling, planing etc.) you have to cover the processed surfaces with „Ensele“ preservative. As impregnated timber has a long lifetime, the fasteners and accessories should be durable (stainless steel, galvanized, of copper or bronze).
Impregnated timber has a very wide range of use – you can use it to build terraces, fences or for decorating your garden or landscape etc.
