Vaha kantakse peale ühes kihis kõrgsurve pihustiliinil, peale kuivatit poleeritakse laud spetsiaalsete poleerharjastega, et anda tootele ühtlane sile ning siidjas lõpptulemus.

Vahatatud pind jätab poolläbipaistva mati, naturaalse ja sooja ning samas ka väga lihtsasti puhastatava ja vastupidava siidja pinna. Oksakohad ja muud puidule iseloomulikud mustrid ei tõuse nii teravalt esile ning sulanduvad palju ühtlasemalt puidu tekstuuriga võrreldes katva pinnavärviga värvimisega.
