Anticon Diffo on “hingav”, kuid vee- ja tuulekindel aluskate, mis laseb niiskusel aurustuda ning seetõttu püsivad konstruktsioonid kuivana. Samas kaitseb aluskate konstruktsioone vihma, lume ja tuule eest. Tänu nendele omadustele paigaldatakse Anticon Diffo vastu isolatsiooni ilma tuulutusvaheta, mis on vajalik tavaliste aluskatete puhul. Nii paranevad ka isolatsiooni soojustusomadused ja eraldi tuuletõket ei ole vaja paigaldada.
Sindel-, vineer- ja puitkatuse või vana bituumenkatuse ümberehitamisel kivi- või plekk-katuseks on kõige lihtsam kasutada õhku läbilaskvat aluskatet. Kilealuskate nõuab tuulutusvahet või katuse avamist, õhku läbilaskva aluskatte võib aga paigaldada otse vana katuse peale.
Anticon Diffo on väga tugev 3-kihiline, UV-kindel ning on loodud nii välis- kui ka sisekliima nõuetele vastavaks aluskatteks.
