Condensation is one of the main causes of structural and material damage in both old and new buildings. The growing use of insulation and new roof construction methods has further increased the risk of condensation in the upper floor structure.
ROOFPROOF is made from HDPE mesh laminated with polyethylene film on both sides. A water-absorbing fabric is laminated underneath. When temperature fluctuations cause heavy condensation, the fabric absorbs the moisture and temporarily retains excess water, releasing it later when temperatures have equalised. Roofproof is suitable as underlay for all types of roofing materials, from sheet metal to traditional tiles.
