ESSVE Hidden Decking System (HDS) makes it possible to build a deck where the screw heads remain completely hidden. The system consists of HDS screws, a special bit and an installation jig. The screws are fastened through the side of the decking board, leaving the deck surface clean, attractive and free of visible screw heads.
The installation jig is suitable for decking boards 105–155 mm wide, and the included spacer plates help ensure even gaps between the decking boards. When choosing the spacing between boards, we always recommend following the installation instructions from the decking board manufacturer or importer.
Installation

Adjust the jig according to the decking board width by lifting the grey locking button.

Place the jig on the decking board above the joist and lock it in place.

Install one HDS screw in each screw hole.

Use the spacer plates to achieve the desired gap between boards.

Drive in the screws using the special HDS TX15 × 100 mm bit.

Always start fastening the decking board from the outer screw.
